Last weekend we had the Brace For Impact Gala. This is the organization that leads the charge on the ground for the orphanage that we support in Haiti. We are so incredibly grateful for this organization as they have opened our eyes and hearts to a whole different side of the world. If you would like to learn more about how to get involved through 30 for the kids click here and watch the video…Sal explains the mission.
I love to treat myself to professional hair and makeup for big events! It’s so relaxing and makes getting ready a dream. My beautiful friend Kara Olsen is a master makeup artist. When she does my makeup I feel so pretty! I asked if she could share her secrets for the evening glam she gave me with all of you!
Here are the deets and I’ve already ordered one of each 😉
Glow to Glam

Starting out with clean, freshly moistened skin I applied YSL All Hour Foundation in the shade B50 Honey. I’ve been loving buildable full coverage matte foundation for it’s staying power and blurring effect!
Next we used the Nudestix Cream Bronzer in the shade Bondi Bae. It’s the perfect bronzed nude tone that works on so many skin tones and blends like a dream.
For eyes I started with the Tom Ford Cream and powder eyeshadow duo in shade naked bronze. I use the cream shadow as a base for her gorgeous bronze eye look. Next I went in with mid tone tan shadows from the Patrick Ta Major Dimension Pallet for the transition shade and topped the cream off with bronze shade Legendary.
For blush I used my all time favorite, Nars Orgasm for the perfect flush.
The lips I lined her pout with the Charlotte Tilbury liner in Pillow Talk, lip stick in Nude Kate, and topped with collagen lip gloss bath in the shade Refresh Rose…this lip combo has been my obsession lately!
Give a spray of your favorite setting spray and you’ll be a glowy bronze goddess!
