By now, I’m sure you have heard about Sculptra and why we love it! If you are new to this product, let’s revisit this game changer injectable. Sculptra is leading the aesthetic industry in collagen production.
Sculptra is an injectable made of PLLA. Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA) is a medicine targeting fibroblasts in your skin, stimulating collagen production. I use the analogy of fertilizer to describe sculptra. As it is growing new collagen thus thickening and smoothing the outer layer of skin.
Sculptra produces incredible results on the face, yet it doesn’t stop there. It’s also used in other areas of the body that lose collagen with time (abdomen, knees, back of elbows and the booty).
Sculptra in the buttock lifts the tissue and thickens or plumps this area. We use 10-12 vials in each treatment to get the greatest collagen stimulation. There are generally 3 types of patients that would love this treatment.
Patients who want a bit more plump to their booty due to genetics or aging. Sculptra plumps the shape of their booty giving a rounder and perkier shape.
Patients who have the type of cellulite that appears as a dent. Sculptra plumps out this area giving a smoother appearance.
Patients who have “hip dips” or depressions on the lateral edges of the booty.
What is the treatment like?
Expect to be in the office for around an hour for your Sculptra treatment. First, we mix the product specific to your needs and then inject the medicine to the desired area. Patients describe this treatment as very tolerable.
What does it cost?
Sculptra Booty starts at $5500 and takes 2-3 treatments 6 weeks apart.
How long will it take to see results?
You will see a beautiful volume enhancement from the added from sterile water we use to mix the medicine. This will go down as the medicine absorbs into your body over the next 48 hours. Studies show a 66% increase in collagen production in 60 days which is very impressive. Results last 2-5 years.
What are post care instructions?
It’s all about the 5-5-5! Massage 5 minutes, 5 times a day for 5 days to distribute the medicine. This encourages an even spread of the product into the fibroblasts.. I recommend scheduling a professional massage post treatment to ensure great results!
