What is Sylfirm X?

Sylfirm X is the world’s first and only FDA-Cleared pulsed wave and continuous wave radio frequency microneedling system. It is an emerging Dual Wave RF device that can be used on different skin types for multiple benefits. Sylfirm X’s innovation makes it such that Sylfirm is the ONLY RF microneedling device approved to safely treat hard-to-treat conditions like rosacea and melasma. Unlike other microneedling RF devices, Sylfirm is able to target the skin to precise depths. With each penetration, the needles remain in the skin for the optimal time required to bring about a desired effect before any thermal injury can occur. The device improves skin health by repairing damaged skin cells, blood vessels and remodeling collagen through an increase of the production of collagen and elastin. Sylfirm’s continuous wave mode stimulates collagen coagulation which in turn brings about a wound healing process and dermal remodeling. Sylfirm is revolutionary technology in the RF microneedling space. It has a 300-4,000 (4mm) depth that is optimal for skin revitalization. It also has non-insulated electrodes which means minimal downtime and little to no pain for patients. How Does Sylfirm X Work?

Sylfirm X combines radio frequency energy with tiny microneedles that deliver energy into the skin. What exactly is Radiofrequency? Radiofrequency provides heat that stimulates collagen production. Because of this, patients’ skin becomes tighter. When combined with the amazing benefits of Microneedling, you have incredible results. 

Let’s dive a little deeper… What sets Sylfirm X apart is its bipolar non-insulated microneedle electrodes, covering all dermal layers with uniformity and precision, to maximize the treatment result. This means that there is complete coagulation in the dermal layer, strong immediate contraction of old collagen fibers, no noticeable thermal damage found in the epidermis, little to no bleeding and minimal downtime. Additionally, because of its 8 different pulse waves and continuous waves, Sylfirm is able to target both skin laxity and pigmentation for the ultimate skin revitalization.

A series of 3 treatments, 4 weeks apart is our recommended at Racquel Aesthetics to yield best results. 

You can expect to see significant improvement in those 3 sessions.  After initial treatments, annual maintenance sessions are recommended because skin continues to age. Sylfirm can help turn back the clock of your skin, however your daily behaviors such as diet, sun exposure, skin care regimen, sleep and stress will determine how long your results last.
