Being a mom is hands down the hardest, yet most rewarding job on the planet. Of all the hats I wear, “Mommy” will always be the best one! I am thankful to have so many amazing inspirational Moms in my life to show me the way.
I think something that society is really good at, is putting a ton of pressure on moms to be the “perfect parent.” It is easy to see other moms out and about or on social media and start to compare ourselves, doubting if we are being a good mom. Let me be the one to tell you today, YOU ARE AN INCREDIBLE MOTHER and we are all doing our best. The days you want to doubt yourself, think about all the things that you’ve done for your child today. But, what is incredible is all those, what you think are small things each day, add up to the person they are becoming. And that mom is a beautiful thing! Motherhood is the only job in the world that doesn’t have a “job description”, user’s manual or mandated 30 minute lunch break! Like I said though, it’s the most rewarding, important and job on our resumes.
Every stage of motherhood has its own set of new challenges. The reality is, whether you have an infant or an 25 year old, we all want the absolute best for your children.
My Why

My 3 babies are my WHY! They are why I wake up every day, push myself to new limits, live a healthy lifestyle, work hard and never give up. I want to teach them the power of positivity, work ethic, be their role model and create the most incredible life for them!
At the end of the day, it is up to us to do what is best for us and our families. Since I’ve had my babies one thing I always remind myself is that motherhood can be a part of my life without becoming my whole entire life. I have been determined to make sure that being a mom doesn’t completely take over who I am as a person.
When other moms ask me, “How do you balance it all?” or “How do you keep from losing yourself?” I always explain that it starts with caring enough about your family to put YOU first. When you take care of yourself properly, you are then much better equipped to take on the world and take care of everyone else in your life.
For me, it is helpful to surround myself with like minded women. We do not need friends that come with additional mom shaming and judgements! Following along and having support from other women with goals, ambition, and drive to both be a kick ass mom and live out a balanced life with goals and passions. These women are not hard to find, sometimes we just need to work together and remind ourselves that we are not just moms.
A little Momspiration
I want to remind all of you reading this that you’re doing amazing. You are strong. You are accountable. And you are an amazing mother. You are leading by example and in turn, you are changing the world. You are raising your little ones to be the best people they can be. Believe me when I say our children will change the world one day!
One last thing for you mamas, remember to take care of yourself and give yourself “me time”. You need to recharge before you can be the best for your babies. When you are the best version of yourself there is less tension, less stress, and fewer arguments. So eat well, move your body, do fun things you love and get sleep when you can. And remember, SELF CARE is NOT SELFISH!
Happy Mother’s Day to all you special women! 🤍
