CoolPeel
The Tetra CO2 laser, commonly known as the “Cool Peel” laser, is a one of a kind technology. This comprehensive technology delivers a fully-ablative treatment without causing thermal damage to surrounding skin, making downtime drastically reduced. CoolPeel safely and comfortably delivers the benefits of traditional CO2 laser without excessive heat. The treatment delivers impressive superficial resurfacing to address fine lines, sun damage, pore size, skin texture and acne scars. CoolPeel is extremely versatile, due to the customizable settings for light, medium and deep treatments, depending on the level for results you are looking for. By far the biggest benefit of CoolPeel is the minimal downtime for light depth. Patients should expect to be a little red, like a sunburn, for the first 24-48 hours. The skin will feel very dry, tight and sandpapery for about 5 days. As the new skin heals, it is important to keep the skin hydrated. Patients will be able to return to their normal skincare routine in one week post-treatment. It is important to note that patients should not have a tan, real or spray two weeks prior to treatment!
Sylfirm X
Sylfirm X is the world’s first and only FDA-Cleared pulsed wave and continuous wave radio frequency microneedling system. It is an emerging Dual Wave RF device that can be used on different skin types for multiple benefits. Sylfirm X’s innovation makes it such that Sylfirm is the ONLY RF microneedling device approved to safely treat hard-to-treat conditions like rosacea and melasma. Unlike other microneedling RF devices, Sylfirm is able to target the skin to precise depths. With each penetration, the needles remain in the skin for the optimal time required to bring about a desired effect before any thermal injury can occur. Microneedling
Microneedling is especially effective in reducing the signs of aging by improving skin texture, fine lines, and wrinkles. It’s also a powerful treatment for enhancing the appearance of acne scars, resulting in a smoother, more even complexion. While traditionally used on the face, microneedling can also be applied to other areas such as the neck, décolletage, and body, offering a complete solution for your skincare needs.Also known as collagen induction therapy, microneedling works by creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin. These tiny channels stimulate your skin’s natural healing process, encouraging the release of growth factors and cytokines that help remodel collagen and elastin for firmer, youthful-looking skin. To further enhance the benefits of microneedling, we offer exosomes—a cutting-edge anti-aging treatment that accelerates your body’s healing process. Exosomes promote faster collagen production, making your microneedling results even more dramatic. It’s an excellent alternative for those who prefer not to undergo PRP (platelet-rich plasma) treatments, but still want maximum rejuvenation.
Neurotoxin: Botox & Dysport
Botox is a great place to start to help soften and prevent further expression lines and wrinkles. Botox is a muscle relaxer, but it isn’t permanent. Botox can be used to both prevent and reverse wrinkles in your forehead, between the brows, the “11’s” and in your crows feet to name a few. Botox starts to take full effect with relaxing your muscles between 7-10 days and generally lasts about 3-4 months. With Botox, there is no downtime, besides tiny little red bumps from the injection sites that last about 5 minutes. A quick lunch time treatment! Your highly skilled nurse injector at Racquel Aesthetics will conduct a consultation prior to your injections with recommendations of treatment areas, number of units and which product they recommend. We offer both Botox and Dysport at RA.
Dermal Fillers: Hyaluronic Acid
Dermal fillers are another injectable that is hyaluronic acid injected into the face to help restore volume loss and fill in facial wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring carbohydrate in the body not only is it very safe but it’s also completely reversible! Dermal fillers can be placed in the lips, cheeks, under eyes, temples, jaw line, smile lines and even in the ear lobes. There are a few brands of filler that we offer at Racquel Aesthetics and depending on your needs, your practitioner will choose the right one for you and the area being treated. Fillers are recommended about once a year. It is not uncommon to have mild bruising and swelling with dermal fillers, but don’t worry. We will provide pre-care and post treatment recommendations to you, so your downtime is down to a minimum.
Biostimulatory Filler: Sculptra
The last injectable treatment that I am obsessed with is Sculptra! Sculptra is an injectable collagen bio-stimulator, designed to restore facial volume loss and laxity caused by aging and/or weight loss. I love to use Sculptra in my super lean patients and patients who need overall volume in the face. I LOVE it to correct the peanut shape that happens in the temples with age as well as the lower face hollowness. Sculptra can be used to treat deep lines, temples and folds and gives you a more youthful, natural appearance. It takes several weeks to gradually look younger and oftentimes a series of treatments may be needed. The results are just beautiful and look extremely natural!
