Axillary Hyperhidrosis is abnormal, excessive sweating that is not typically related to heat or exercise. Unfortunately, people who suffer from this disorder frequently sweat so much that it soaks through their clothes, and antiperspirants are often unable to control their sweating. Axillary Hyperhidrosis is caused by overactive nerves which trigger the major sweat glands, causing excessive and unnecessary armpit sweat to be produced. At RA, we believe every single person should be able to wear their cute dresses and nice dress shirts without fear of sweating through their favorite clothes!
If you’re tired of searching through your closet for an outfit to hide your sweat, stop now! At RA, we offer a simple quick treatment for your excessive sweating.
BOTOX UNDER THE ARMPIT!
Research from the International Hyperhidrosis Society has proven that Botox injections under the armpit can reduce sweating by greater than 82%. Botox under the armpit works by temporarily blocking the chemical that activates the sweat glands, thus reducing sweating under the arms.

Common Questions
How long does this last?
~6-8 months! (some people say it lasts even longer for them!)
How much does it cost?
$1200.00
How often do I need to do this?
You can do it every 6-8 months, before each season, or whenever it suits you best! Don’t forget, wedding season is right around the corner!
How many units of Botox are used?
We use 100 units (50 units on each underarm)
Does it hurt?
No! It’s a very quick and painless treatment! We numb your underarms for ~10-15 minutes prior to injecting and will have you in and out of the chair in no time!
How does it work?
Your nurse will inject ~15-20 pokes that form a gridlike pattern throughout the area of concern on each underarm. It will take up to 2 weeks to see the full, final results, but patients typically begin to see positive changes within a couple days.
What do I need to avoid after my treatment?
At RA, we recommend avoiding deodorant or products with perfume under your arms for about 24 hours post-treatment to avoid irritation. Additionally, taking 1-2 days off of intense exercise and hot baths after your treatment may also help to minimize irritation!
