Parenting is so rewarding but also so hard. I’m not a perfect parent, but I will continue to try my best to raise good humans. One thing I will always make sure of is that my babies know how much they are loved! One of my goals for 2024 was to really cherish the amazing ages of my kids and all of their curiosity and innocence. I don’t want to waste time being sad about them growing up; I want to embrace and enjoy every moment and memory we can create together! Time sure does fly and you can easily get caught up in how fast the years go by. But instead of spending time dwelling on how fast time passes, soak up the here & now.
No matter the age of your children, it’s so important to fill your their hearts, heads and ears with positivity, love and connection.
These are the little phrases I tell my babies all the time—especially when I’m tucking them into bed or before sending them off to school. Starting and ending our days with love, gratitude and positivity is so important to me. I truly believe that words of affirmation create emotional safety and connection. They get stored deep inside their little hearts. My hope is that I shape their little hearts to share this same connection and love for their children for years to come.
Things I hope my kiddos never forget as they navigate their way through the world:
🤍 I love being your mommy.
🤍 You are always in my heart.
🤍 You are smart, beautiful, and you will do amazing things.
🤍 I love you no matter what.
🤍 Always believe in yourselves, my babies… you can be anything you want to be.
🤍 If you can dream it, you can achieve it.
🤍 Whatever you do, stay true to your hearts and do it with love and kindness.
🤍 I will always be here for you.

As the saying goes, the days are long but the years are short. You’ll blink and you’ll be sending your baby off to kindergarten or to college or walking them down the aisle! You may be challenged today by your children, but always remember you are the most important person in your child’s life. From one mama to another, I want to be that person to tell you, today, You are doing an incredible job, never forget that!
XO-
Racquel

Those are such sweet, beautiful things to say to your kiddos. I am not a parent but I hope every parent can express words and show actions to love, support and encourage their children like you do. Thank you for sharing
Thank you so much for your sweet support!!
