Wrapping Up 2023… Bring On 2024

Wow… I can’t believe I am sitting down reflecting and writing about the year as a whole! I feel like I blinked and it was December! I swear as I get older the years go by quicker. It has been an incredible year for me and I am so grateful and feel so fortunate for the year it’s been.

2023 has been a year of growth, both personally and professionally. There were some VERY late nights and EARLY mornings, sleep deprivation, stress and tears at times… but every ounce of struggle was worth it, to build our dream life. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I feel like that is the chapter where we are right now. We are making BIG decisions that will shape the rest of our lives. We are trying to really throttle down now in every aspect so that we can build an amazing future for ourselves and kids.

Sal and I have tried to be very intentional with where we spend our time and energy. Right now, it’s about family and it’s about work. Balancing those two buckets to make everything tick can have its challenges, but we both are up for the challenge every day.

Last year was a big move for us and this year we finished renovating our home to make it feel perfect for our family. We also wrapped up the renovation of our dream farm. We loved spending so much quality time at the farm house and the kids love it too! The farm is a peaceful and relaxing place for the whole family, we love being there on the weekends!

The kids have kept Sal and I running with their schedules and it is just awesome seeing their little hearts so happy. They started at an amazing new school this year and are excelling, learning and growing. Education is so important and I love picking them up from school and hearing all about their days. The girls enjoyed gymnastics, dance and soccer and Enzo flourished in soccer, baseball and wrestling. It has been so fun watching them enjoy sports and find their passions.

Professionally, it’s been another incredible year! I have worked so hard on growing my businesses and helping my amazing employees grow with me/us. Racquel Aesthetics and RFA Skincare both celebrated their 1 year anniversaries and I can’t believe in a few short months the 2nd year anniversaries will be approaching. We have been so busy and it makes me so grateful. Thank you to all our amazing patients that support us! I am so proud of my work family and looking back at the positive impact we have placed on so many men & women’s lives helping them achieve radiant, glowing skin and confidence. There is nothing better, it is so rewarding.

This past year, I also started the RA Way Training Academy. We offer a variety of customized training opportunities through our academy and it’s really kept me busy. I also became a National Trainer for Galderma & Allergan and traveled the country training and learning. I love learning and training, I truly believe it makes me a better provider for my patients. You know my saying, “Never Stop Being A Student Of Your Profession!”

I’m exhausted after reflecting on this past year, but in the best way possible! ☺️

Goals For 2024

Starting a new year means new goals and I love goals and setting myself and family up for success. When it comes to goals, you have to get uncomfortable to grow and my goal is to continue to push myself to do that. Writing down your goals and putting them somewhere where you can visualize them daily is a great way to always make sure you are working towards achieving them and living them out!

  • Pour into my marriage…regular date nights…Sal is always my 1st priority. Without him and our marriage nothing else works!
  • Pour into my kids. They are the future of the world! And I want to and I want to give them the world, but teach them that kindness and hard work is the secret.
  • Pour into my career, my businesses and my employees. I want to help the business grow so that my employees can grow and that means we will continue to help more and more people. Our goal is to reach and change as many lives as possible!
  • Attend some amazing aesthetic trainings to grow as a provider and continue to travel the world training others and giving back to my industry
  • Plan a vacation with Sal for our 10 year Anny.
  • Plan an amazing family vacation
  • Continue to make time for self care, (nails, hair, workouts, walks, yoga, reading books, sauna, cold plunge) this has really helped me feel taken care of, centered and energized!
  • Continue to strive for a healthy work/life balance. I enjoy my work and it allows me to feel complete and live out my purpose. It also allows me to create a life that I love and to provide for my family and kids — I know Sal feels the same way.
  • Be healthy!!! We are nothing without our health. Try to eat healthy foods, create more healthy habits, workout, and lead by example so my kids adapt this lifestyle.

Cheers to 2024 I am going to try to make it one of our best! And remember, “If you can dream it, you can do it!”

XO-
